Position Summary
UbeCube is a small start-up injection molding facility with great potential. Our main focus is our
patented storage cube. We are also interested in OEM injection molding. Our ideal
candidate for this position will be someone who is ready to help build this small company to realize its
potential through excellent teamwork and dedication.
As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and safeguarding the
integrity of our financial reporting. In this critical role, you will develop strategic financial plans, manage
the manufacturing / cost accounting, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. This role
includes human resources responsibilities, including a variety of disciplines, such as administering
compensation and benefits, managing employee relations, conducting recruitment, processing payroll,
and maintaining employee records. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a robust
grasp of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills to engage effectively with
stakeholders.

Responsibilities
▪ Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
▪ Accounting: Managing accounting records, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts
receivable
▪ Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
▪ Risk management: Establishing and monitoring internal controls to protect assets
▪ Financial analysis: Identifying trends, efficiencies, and areas for cost reduction
▪ Audits: Coordinating and leading the annual audit process
▪ Human resources generalist that will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR
process.

Qualifications
▪ Bachelors’ degree in business or accounting or 5 to 7 years equivalent experience
▪ Manufacturing / Cost accounting experience
▪ Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
▪ Skilled in project management, including planning workflows, implementing internal
checks, and facilitating meetings.

▪ Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
▪ Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and working with digital files
▪ Must understand how to work with foreign vendors
▪ Injection molding accounting experience a plus
▪ QuickBooks and Netsuite experience a plus
