The CrateCloset™ Base Bundle is the foundation for creating a fully modular closet. Stack and connect UC01™ crates using Snap-Fit Connectors, then add ClosetStrips™ to mount shelves or RodSnaps™ and Rod Extensions for hanging rods. Everything locks in tool-free for fast, custom installation.
Can I use standard closet rods or wooden dowels with this system?
Yes. RodSnaps™ and Rod Extensions hold any 1.25-inch standard closet rod or dowel — widely available at hardware stores. Just quarter-turn the RodSnaps™ into the crate walls, match the same height on the opposite tower, and drop your rod in place. This gives you an adjustable hanging rack between towers.
How do I mount shelves or boards between crates?
Use ClosetStrips™ to mount your own wooden or laminate boards between crates. Each strip includes slots for RodSnaps™ and other UC accessories, so you can mix shelving and hanging storage in the same wall. Standard 12-inch-deep boards from any home-center work perfectly.
Do I need tools to assemble the Base Bundle?
No special tools required — everything snaps, slides, or locks together. Optional wall anchors (ScrewClips) include hardware if you’d like to secure it to studs for safety.
