I have about five or six of the vinyl ones and two of their everyday use ones. I highly recommend getting the "rubber" handle upgrades and would say they're a must in terms of practicality if you plan to move the crates easily.

These storage crates are the best solution I have run into. Whether collecting or regularly spinning records, these babies are pretty bullet-proof and have handles that can actually hold the maximum weight (also crate handles) for transport. They are also modular so they can stack easily without having to worry about damaging the cargo. Included are pics that should say a thousand words for vinyl enthusiasts.

I grew up in a record store hauling the old milk crates around, but after the absolute festival of my life desperately hanging onto my records in a crowd, 8+ cross country moves, sound gigs, and the RV, I never wanted to unpack ever flaming again, and I needed something better then a milk crate. Mission accomplished. Stand alone end table, storage compartment, throw it in the back of the truck with your speakers, smoosh it into the moving van, toss it on the bar. It is now also the speaker stand since they stack and actually hold. Gonna test the everlasting chaos out of this thing and see how it handles life on the road. Really excited to see that handle perform under pressure. Will update. Absolutely going and buying the three set next so I can pack up my four square dvd/cd binders, tape collection, cleaning kit, cables, extension cords, and other junk. A party monsters absolute thanks to this crate. I hope it goes cool places with us all.
