Add grip and floor protection to your UbeCube™ crates with silicone rubber Footpads designed for the crate's designated bottom face.

■ Anti-Slip Base. Adds soft, high-friction contact points when the crate sits upright with its opening facing up.

■ Top-to-Bottom Stacking. Footpads help create a secure, slip-resistant contact point when stacking the bottom of one crate onto the top of another.

■ Orientation Matters. Footpads install only on the crate bottom and can interfere when that face needs to stack against another crate's bottom or side.

Description

Give your UbeCube™ crate a more planted, floor-friendly base with silicone rubber Footpads. Designed specifically for the mounting points on the bottom of UbeCube™ crates, each four-pack adds soft contact points that help reduce slipping, noise, scuffing, and direct plastic contact on hard surfaces.

Includes:

■ 4 Silicone Rubber Footpads

Bottom-Mount Design: Footpads attach to the four designated mounting points on the base of the crate, opposite the lid/opening side. They install only on this face of the crate, so crate orientation should be considered when planning a custom build.

Anti-Slip Grip: Silicone rubber contact points help reduce sliding on smooth floors, shelves, desks, benches, and other hard surfaces.

Surface-Friendly Contact: The soft silicone pads help reduce direct hard-plastic contact, movement noise, and potential scuffing wherever the Footpad-equipped bottom face meets another surface. When crates are positioned upright, this can help protect floors, shelves, and benches. In some sideways configurations, Footpads can also provide a soft contact point between the crate bottom and a wall or other vertical surface.

Top-to-Bottom Stacking: Footpads are compatible with standard top-to-bottom stacking. When the bottom of a Footpad-equipped crate is stacked onto the top/lid side of another crate, the Footpads help create a secure, slip-resistant contact point between the crates.

Custom Build Compatibility: Installed Footpads occupy the mounting points on the bottom face of the crate. If your build requires that bottom face to stack against another crate's bottom or side, the Footpads will interfere with a clean stack and should be removed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which side of an UbeCube™ crate do Footpads attach to?
Footpads install only on the designated bottom face of the crate, opposite the lid or opening. They fit into the four Omni-Stack corners on this face and cannot be relocated to another side of the crate.
When should I use Footpads on an UbeCube™ crate?
Footpads are most useful when a crate is sitting upright with its designated bottom on the floor and its lid or opening facing directly upward. In this orientation, the silicone rubber Footpads contact the surface below the crate to add grip and help protect finished surfaces.
Do Footpads help when UbeCube™ crates are stacked?
Yes, when the crates are stacked top-to-bottom. The Footpads on the bottom of the upper crate contact the top or lid side of the crate below, helping create a secure, slip-resistant contact point between the two crates.
Can I stack a Footpad-equipped crate in any orientation?
No. Installed Footpads are compatible when the bottom of one crate is stacked against the top or lid side of another crate. If the Footpad-equipped bottom needs to stack against another crate's bottom or side, the Footpads will interfere with a clean stack and should be removed.
Can I use Footpads when the crate opening or door faces outward?
Yes, depending on your setup. When a crate is turned so its opening or door faces outward, the Footpads are no longer underneath the crate and do not function as feet. However, if the Footpad-equipped bottom face rests against a wall or another surface, the soft silicone pads can provide a contact point that helps reduce direct hard-plastic contact. Keep in mind that installed Footpads will interfere if that bottom face needs to stack or connect against another crate's bottom or side.
Can Footpads interfere with UbeCube™ crate connections?
Yes. Footpads occupy the Omni-Stack corners on the designated bottom face of the crate. This works with standard top-to-bottom stacking, but the Footpads can interfere if your build requires that bottom face to connect or stack against another crate's bottom or side. Remove the Footpads anywhere those bottom connection points are needed.
How do Footpads help keep crates from sliding?
The silicone rubber Footpads add soft, high-friction contact points to the bottom of the crate. When that face rests on a floor, shelf, bench, or the top of another crate, the Footpads help reduce sliding and movement while also reducing direct hard-plastic contact.
How many Footpads come in a set?
Each Footpad Set includes 4 Footpads, enough for the four designated mounting points on the bottom of one compatible UbeCube™ crate.
Where can I learn more about planning a custom UbeCube™ build?
