The CrateKicks™ KickStand Tower I is designed for vertical shoe organization in a compact footprint. It works well anywhere you want to keep footwear visible and easy to grab without spreading out horizontally, such as bedrooms, closets, entryways, workshops, or retail-style displays.
How much floor space does the KickStand Tower I take up?
In its recommended configuration, the Tower I uses a single column of UC02™ crates. Each crate measures approximately 13 5/8" by 13 5/8", making the overall footprint small while stacking vertically for storage.
Are the layouts shown fixed, or can I build it differently?
The layout shown is a recommended configuration, not a limitation. All included crates, shelves, and accessories can be rearranged into wider grids, split towers, or alternative layouts. Every piece follows the same UbeCube™ modular system.
What are the Short Poles used for?
Short Poles mount to the sides of the crates and provide open display storage for shoes or quick-access items. They are ideal for daily pairs you want visible without taking up shelf space inside the crate.
Can I expand or convert the KickStand Tower I later?
Yes. You can add more UC02™ crates, connect additional towers, or reconfigure the same components into a wider system. Many users start with Tower I and grow into a grid or dual-tower setup over time.
Does the KickStand Tower I need to be mounted to a wall?
