UC02 Lidless Crate

The UC02™ Lidless Crate has 157 usable attachment points: 29 usable diamonds on each of its four sides and 41 attachment points on the bottom. The open diamond design gives you extensive freedom to position UbeCube™ hooks, holders, connectors, and other attachments around the crate while keeping the top completely open for quick access to stored gear.

The UC02™ Lidless Crate measures 13.5" × 13.5" × 13.5" on the exterior and provides a 12.5" × 12.5" × 12.5" interior storage space. The crate also collapses to just 4" high when not in use, making it easy to store or transport between uses.

The UC02™ Lidless Crate works with UbeCube™ add-ons throughout the system, including hooks, holders, bins, trays, shelves, dividers, soft goods, and other accessories. The UC02™ Lidless Crate is often used as a building block in larger UbeCube™ setups, where crates can be rotated onto their sides instead of always sitting upright. When a crate is turned sideways, its original bottom becomes an exposed side of the build. That makes the UC02 Lidless crate's 41 bottom attachment points a highly usable mounting surface for hooks, holders, and other UbeCube™ add-ons. The attachment points are designed around the crate as a modular cube, not just around how it functions when sitting upright.

The UC02™ Lidless Crate prioritizes maximum attachment flexibility, while the UC02™ MOD Lidless Crate trades some open diamond space for interchangeable MOD side panels. The UC02 Lidless provides 29 usable attachment points on each side. The MOD version comes with original MOD panels that provide 13 attachment points per side and can be swapped for other MOD panel styles. The best choice depends on whether attachment density or interchangeable panels matter more to your setup.

The UC02™ Lidless Crate does not use interchangeable MOD panels because its sides retain the open diamond pattern for maximum attachment flexibility. If you want to use original, Window, Locker, Whiteboard, or other MOD panels, choose the UC02™ MOD Lidless Crate. Both styles can be used together as part of the same UbeCube™ storage system.

The UC02™ Lidless Crate works especially well for gear you want to see and reach quickly, including tools, camping equipment, sports gear, garage supplies, hobby materials, cleaning supplies, and other frequently used items. Its open top provides immediate access, while 157 usable attachment points let you organize additional gear around the sides and bottom instead of putting everything inside the crate.

The UC02™ Lidless Crate is Omni-Stackable™ and designed to connect with other UbeCube™ crates, allowing open-access storage to become part of a larger modular setup.
