UC01 Crate

I bought a bunch of these for a very large vinyl collection. I had previously been using Kallax shelves but was looking for something more modular that could scale with my collection. I’m super happy with these! They are very inexpensive when compared with other modular alternatives, super sturdy, and highly customizable. They look great, too. I only took a star away because the records almost fit TOO perfectly. My entire collection is sleeved, which adds some size, and makes it a bit of a struggle to fully maximize the space inside the crate. I also cannot close the crate door because of the sleeves. A lot of collectors use outer sleeves, so I’m surprised this wasn’t taken into consideration when designing them (even tho they can also be used for a million other things). If your collection isn’t sleeved, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better all-around storage solution!

My friend traveling around the country visiting fellow veterans after his retirement from the US Air Force uses your UbeCube system. He is using them in the back of a Ford F250 with rear seat removed. They are stacked 3 high and 2 deep, facing opposite directions so they can be accessed from both sides. This guy could tell a story of how convenient and useful the UC’s are. He’s been on the road for over 4 months now living out of his truck.

Works great for packing kitchen extras for travel trips when we stay at an Airbnb.

Who say's you can't reinvent the wheel! Those Ubecubes are a brilliant redesign of a milk crate.

Ubecube is such a cool concept. Sometimes the best ideas are just simple improvements over existing products.

The Ubecube looks like a great and well made product, I have some old Expedit shelves of different configurations. I've also been known to repurpose cabinets from large refuse and I've even made a few of my own from repurposed crates...still though, it seems I'm always on the verge of running out of space and can use more storage.
