How is the UC01™ Lidless Crate different from the regular UC01 Crate?
The standard UC01 Crate includes a hinged lid, while the Lidless version keeps the same frame but stays open for faster grab-and-go use. Both share the same interlocking corners, load rating, and full accessory compatibility, but the MOD version adds support for Locker, Window, and Whiteboard MOD Panels so you can customize any side of your crate.
How do I install or remove MOD Panels on my UC01™ Lidless Crate?
Each MOD Panel connects with four PinLocks that twist a quarter-turn to engage. To remove a panel, rotate the PinLocks inward to disengage, then gently tap the panel from the inside using a soft mallet or blunt object to release it from the frame. To reinstall, align the new panel, press it into place, and turn the PinLocks outward to lock. The process takes seconds and requires no tools.
Can I combine the UC01™ Lidless Crate with UC02 or standard UC01 models?
Yes. The UbeCube™ modular system is omni-stackable, so all UC01 and UC02 models connect seamlessly. Many users mix UC02 MOD Crates or UC02 Lidless Crates for large modular towers or mixed-use setups.
